| But the part of the question not asked, " Do I need to do anything Else?".. The answer is YES.. you need to have the ECU Re-Programmed for no AIV's, OR get a 93 or newer ECU for the Same Type Veh.. ( Auto/5 Speed ).. The pre '93 ECU ( For Na ) is expecting the AIV's to be taking a little air at Idle. The fuel calculation for mixture will be wrong if the AIV's are missing.. the O2 Sensor Feedback will not corect the Mixture properly at Idle, and the Idle will be a little off.. Either use this excuse to get a chipped ECU ( The Aftermarket ROMS do not have the AIV's programmed in them ), or hit Fleay Bay and get a '93 to '95 ECU for your Car Type.. '93 is still an 8 Bit ECU.. if you go to a '95 then you get a 16 Bit ECU.. it's debateable if 16 bit program is any better.. I've read in the ECU Forum that they are about the same.. except 16 Bit is a little more difficult to deal with for chipping.. and 16 bit programs are not as avalable for hacking.. Cj
